Vé’s personal mission is to embellish peoples’ lives with luminous and colourful paintings. Born and raised in Hearst, a small French-speaking town in northern Ontario, she embraces her upbringing dearly and feels like it has a great influence on her identity. Her love for fine arts grew on her as she began undergrad studies in public communications at UQAM. If painting was a therapeutic medium at first, it quickly became a passion that she relentlessly thrives for. Recipient of the bursary "Aide aux Expositions", offered by Ontario’s Art Council, Vé exposed her work as a solo artist for the first time in her hometown, Hearst. Since then, she’s cumulated many exhibits in galleries, fairs, symposiums and different private events.
Vé has had early success in her career as an emerging artist. Her paintings have been featured on “Hubert et Fanny”, a Radio- Canada TV sitcom and publications such as Le Soleil (Québec, QC), Radio-Canada (Montréal, QC) and featured in House and Garden (United Kingdom: The Art Edit (February 2018). Vé Boisvert’s artwork has been collected in Eastern Canada, England, Spain and the United States. The energy her paintings exhale is tainted with positivity and hope. Vé walks us through her universe of colors, happiness and lightness. Her canvases are engorged both with sensitivity and self-expression. Her spiritual journey has a strong influence on her intuitive art. If we were to phrase Vé’s art in a nutshell, we would say that her art "feeds the soul".
